What you as a student should do:
Learn a range of relaxation techniques to help control stress. Common relaxation techniques include meditation, mindfulness, tai chi and yoga. For a more active approach, walking outdoors or participating in a sporting sports activity can be relaxing. Learn to strengthen your resiliency, or ability to recover from or adjust to stressful events. Four key qualities of resilient people include flexibility, hardiness, hopefulness, and persistence (Goelitz & Rees, 2011). Resiliency is important for thriving under stress and it can enhance performance, leadership, mood, and physical and mental health.
