Peppered Tofu Bowl

Ingredients:​

  • ¼ block extra firm tofu​
  • ¾ c green beans​
  • ¾ c jasmine rice​
  • ground pepper​
  • olive oil ​
  • sesame seeds​

Stir-fry Sauce​

  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce​
  • 2 Tbsps esame oil​
  • 2 Tbsp orange juice​
  • 2 Tbsp honey ​

Directions:​

  1. Cube the tofu and cut the green beans in half.​
  2. Over medium heat, pan fry the tofu in olive oil, making sure to coat in pepper on each side.​
  3. Prepare rice as directed on the box.​
  4. Once the tofu has a golden brown coating, add in the green beans and additional pepper to taste.​
  5. When the green beans begin to soften, take off the heat.​
  6. On the side, mix together the stir-fry sauce. ​
  7. In a bowl, add jasmine rice, green beans, tofu and sauce. Stir well to coat. ​
  8. Top with sesame seeds to your liking.​
