Simple Tuna Melt and Mac

A cheesy sandwich and side combo

Ingredients:​

  • 1 (5oz) can of tuna, drained​
  • ½ small onion, chopped or minced​
  • 2 slices of bread​
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese​
  • black pepper to taste​
  • 6 slices pickled jalapeno (optional)​

​Directions:​

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.​
  2. In a small bowl, combine tuna, onion and black pepper. Divide mixture onto 2 halves of bread.​
  3. (optional) Arrange 3 slices jalapenos on each bread half.​
  4. Top each bread half with a slice of Cheddar cheese. Place on a baking sheet.​
  5. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese begins to bubble.
